This looks really good. The reason I like it so much is that when you think of games where you build defenses, normally it's something where you need to use a mouse to place defenses, which completely throws off your control of the character. From looking at this, I would assume that you have the defenses linked to hotkeys which would be perfect for this.

a bit short...

I personally would have liked to see how the squirrels handled their success, and have a bit more story development in that direction/more heist sequence, but when you give people a flash and they want more of the same, you know you've done a hell of job. Love it.
